On 2nd February 2017, registration will be opened from 7.00 - 9.00 am.
This is due to the security measure issued by Bureau of the Royal Household that all activity has to be stop at least 1 hour before the arrival of Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol.
The registration will be re-opened after the departure of HRH Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol.

WELCOME MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT OF CHEMICAL SOCIETY OF THAILAND
Dear Distinguished Delegates, Faculty, and Affiliates:
On behalf of the Chemical Society of Thailand (CST) and Organizing University (KMUTNB),
we are honored to invite you to the Pure and Applied Chemistry International Conference 2017 or
PACCON2017 which will be held from February 2, 2017 to February 3, 2017 at Centra Government Complex Hotel & Convention Center
Chaeng Watthana, Bangkok, Thailand. It is also a great occasion to celebrate the 60 birthday of Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhon Mahidol.
PACCON is the largest annual event devoted to the science in the areas of chemistry,
and it will give participants a platform to present their research finding as well as exchange ideas, discover novel opportunities, reacquaint with colleagues, meet new friends, and broaden their knowledge.
The theme of the PACCON2017 is "Green Convergence on Chemical Frontiers" it will broadly cover all disciplines of chemistry
from fundamental research to industrial applications, highlight global chemical scientific interactions and collaborations.
The conference format will include oral and poster presentations in many aspects of chemistry and will highlight the concept of green chemistry.
Special sessions are also provide to school teachers who have great expertise in contributing to chemistry teaching in school nationwide
in order to acquainting them with international atmosphere. The goal of the activity is to promote education in chemistry
at school level which will increase public understanding of how importance of chemistry in improving their standard of living.
Apart from the formal events and activities, we are pleased to have Professor Kurt Wüthrich, Nobel Laureate in Chemistry for the year 2002,
as the plenary speakers. Reception and welcome party will be hosted for socializing and great opportunity for networking for all participants.
I wish all of the participant's fruitful deliberations and believe that all of you will enjoy the sharing and exchanging of your expertise
between thousands of expected delegates from different parts of the world. Moreover, sightseeing throughout the great city,
Bangkok, will be provided for your joyous and memory.
As the president of the Chemical Society of Thailand, I know that the success of the conference depends ultimately on the many people
who have worked with us in planning and organizing both the technical program and supporting social arrangements.

On behalf of the organizing committee, it is a great pleasure and privileged to warmly invite you to attend the 11th Pure and Applied Chemistry International Conference 2017 (PACCON 2017), which will be held during February 2-3, 2017 at the Centra Government Complex Hotel & Convention Centre, Bangkok, Thailand. This is the first time that the Department of Industrial Chemistry, Faculty of Applied Science, King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) is selected to be hosting the PACCON 2017, jointly with the Chemical Society of Thailand under the Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol. We are much honored to be hosting the prestigious annual international conference in chemistry and related field in Thailand. Moreover, this year's conference also commemorates the 60th birthday celebration of Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol.
The theme of the PACCON 2017 conference "Green Convergence on Chemical Frontiers" covers various disciplines of pure and applied chemical research aiming to approach the environmental friendly and sustainable way of life.
The 2017 conference program is rich and abundantly diverse with 4 plenary lectures, 50 invited talks and around 800 technical papers with approximately 200 oral presentations in 12 sessions and a poster session. Besides, there are 3 special sessions on Sustainable Industrial Chemistry and Green Innovation, Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) in Asia, and Synchrotron Radiation Application For Innovative Materials and 1 workshop on Small Scale Chemistry.
We do hope that the PACCON 2017 Conference will provide the venue for presenting advancement in chemistry research and stimulating the initiatives for collaboration network among different sectors such as academia, research institutes and industries.
Finally, as a Conference Chair of PACCON 2017, I realize that the success of the conference depends on the many people who have worked very hard with us in planning and organizing all of the technical programs and social arrangements.
